A bowl of Bugles, pretzels, Goldfish crackers, cashews and Chex cereal with the text: Bugle Ranch Snack Mix.

This Bugle Ranch Snack Mix Recipe is the perfect crunchy snack for parties and game days! Making this snack mix with bugles is super easy!

A bowl of bugles, honey chex, pretzels, cheddar goldfish, and pretzels with ranch seasoning on it.

Whether you're throwing a party, gearing up for games, or just hosting a girls' night, Bugle Snack Mix is a fun alternative to a typical bag of chips. I made this for a group of teens and parents, and they devoured it!

With a crunchy combination of different cereals, salty pretzels, cheesy crackers, and that classic ranch seasoning, this snack mix with bugles is bound to be a hit.

These Everything Bagel Cashews have been a huge hit at my house! I also love snacking on homemade pistachio granola.

Why You'll Love This Bugle Snack Mix Recipe

I promise this snack mix recipe with bugles deserves a spot at your next party!

    • This ranch party mix is easy to customize to include your favorite snacks.
    • The recipe makes a huge batch which is perfect for parties.
    • You can prepare it ahead of time because it keeps well in an airtight container.

With its combination of crunchy corn snacks, like Bugles, and the savory touch of ranch seasoning, this recipe has maximum flavor. It's an ideal party snack mix for big gatherings and one of the most popular recipes for any get-together.

    Recipe Ingredients

To make this easy snack, you'll only need a few simple ingredients and you can easily substitute your favorite savory snacks.

A bowl of cashews, two sticks of butter, two ranch seasoning packets, and packages of bugles, pretzels, honey nut Chex, and Cheddar Goldfish on a counter.

Bugles also called Bugle Corn Snacks are the star of this bugle snack mix, adding that classic corn snack crunch.

Honey Nut Chex Cereal or Honey Nut Cheerios are fantastic options, adding a little sweetness to the snack mixture.

Mini pretzels add a salty, crispy element that complements the other ingredients.

Goldfish Cheddar Crackers provide a cheesy flavor.

Ranch Seasoning gives the snack mix a yummy ranch flavor. I like using Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning.

Unsalted Butter helps the seasoning stick to every piece, giving you maximum flavor in every bite. I do not recommend using salted butter because there is already a lot of salt on most of the ingredients.

Cashews or Other Nuts are optional and give a softer crunch and rich nutty bite.

    Substitutions

Making substitutions is a great way to customize Hidden Valley Ranch snack mix!

    • Cheez-It crackers can be a substitute for Goldfish.
    • Goldfish Pretzels can replace mini pretzels.

How to Make Ranch Bugle Snack Mix

Here are some quick visual instructions. The full recipe with ingredient measurements is below!

Preheat the oven to 275°F. Grab a large bowl, and combine Bugles, Goldfish crackers, mini pretzels, Honey Nut Chex or Cheerios, and nuts.

In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter and ranch seasoning. Drizzle the butter mixture over the bugle snack mix, stirring well to coat everything evenly.

Two photos: one is a bowl with melted butter, ranch seasoning, and a wisk. The other photos has the butter mixture being poured into a bowl of bugles, pretzels, chex, and more.

Spread the mixture onto a large roasting pan or two baking sheets and bake.

Once toasted, let the snack mixture cool, then transfer to an airtight container for storage. Enjoy your big batch of bugle party mix!
