112 ouncebag of Frozen Green Beans(cut, french or whole)
2tablespoonsbutter(salted or unsalted)
1tablespoonolive oil
½teaspoongarlic powder(or 2 cloves of fresh garlic minced)
¼teaspoononion powder
¼teaspoonsalt(a little less if using salted butter)
1pinchblack pepper
Instructions
Thaw and dry the frozen green beans. (You can use the beans without thawing, but it will take longer to cook and be careful that the oil doesn't pop on you when you add them to the pan.)
Heat the butter and olive oil in a medium skillet or sauté pan on medium heat.
Once the butter is melted, add the green beans. Once the green beans have thawed, add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the pan and stir them together.
Sauté uncovered on medium heat for 5-8 minutes or until the green beans are warm and softened.
