Add the frozen potato puffs to the air fryer basket. It is best to lay them in a single layer to help them get crispy. (If they don't fit in a single layer read the TIPS note below).
Air fry the potato puffs for 11-12 minutes. If they need additional time, check them every 1-2 minutes until they are evenly browned and crispy.
As soon as they are done, sprinkle them with a pinch of salt.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Tips:
The cook time may vary based on your model of air fryer.
In a larger air fryer you should be able to fit them in a single layer. For smaller air fryers you can make two batches, or just make sure you go in a few times to give it a good shake and move the potato puffs around. You may also need to add a few extra minutes to the cooking time.
Storage:
Storage: Store leftover tater tots in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Reheating: Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees F and air fry tater tots for 2-3 minutes. Keep a close eye on them because they can brown quickly. Don't microwave leftovers, they will become soggy tater tots.
Freezing: Put the cooled potato puffs in freezer bag. Squeeze out any remaining air. Store in the freezer for 4-6 months. When ready to use, thaw the potato puffs and then air fryer them at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 2-3 minutes.
