How to Reheat Cold Pizza in the Air Fryer

Have any of these thoughts ever crossed your mind? Can I heat pizza in my air fryer? How do I reheat pizza in an air fryer? How long to air fry leftover pizza?

We have great news for you! Reheating cold pizza in your air fryer is super easy and the best way to warm up pizza! Let us explain why.

Rewarming pizza in the microwave produces limp and soggy results. The edges are always piping hot and the middle cooler. The oven creates a better crisp to the crust, but it takes forever to preheat a large oven.

The air fryer can heat up small batches of pizza in a few minutes with a perfectly crispy crust and melted cheese.

    Recipe Tips & Tricks

    1. Heating cold pizza in the air fryer can be done in the basket. Sometimes some of the cheese may stick to the bottom. You can also use tin foil or parchment paper for easy clean-up.
    2. Never preheat the air fryer with parchment paper or tin foil in the basket. Wait until it preheats to carefully add it.
    3. Use the timer feature on your air fryer. Pizza only takes about 3 minutes to reheat, and it doesn’t take much longer before the cheese goes from gooey to crispy.
    4. At the three-minute mark, you may need an additional minute or two. The time may vary based on your model of air fryer.
    5. Keep the pizza in one layer. Don't overlap slices.

This is the only way we reheat pizza in our house. Even if we have to split it into 2 batches, it is still faster than the oven. I love the tip for foil for easy clean up.

This is a genius idea! Reheating in the microwave makes it soggy and doing it in the oven just takes too long. 🙂
